Down By The Bay: Rolling On

And we roll on in Bay Area sports. We had some good baseball yesterday, and some news regarding our football teams. Not much else you can ask for as a Bay Area sports fan, right? Also of note, is this post I had yesterday here on our blog, about SB Nation's new Stanford Cardinal blog, Rule of Tree, so be sure to read up on that.

After the jump is all you need to know when it comes to the A's, Giants, 49ers, Raiders, Warriors, Sharks and all of Bay Area sports is laid in front of you by myself, as per our team specific blogs. So jump when I say jump... jump.

The game yesterday wasn't the most exciting Giants game ever, or even the most exciting Giants game in the last week. But it was pretty, good, and they got a win out of it, that counts for ... well, a lot. Anyway, McCovey Chronicles has a postgame thread for your perusal.

The A's picked up a good win yesterday, in a much more exciting game to boot. They've bolstered themselves above .500 and are playing entertaining baseball. Nothing to complain about here, save for lack of playoffs, but what's done is done. Athletics Nation has a postgame thread and recap.

The Niners lost promising linebacker Diyral Briggs to the Denver Broncos and their practice squad. Beyond that, Niners Nation took a look at the next step in Alex Smith's football career with the 49ers and also took a brief look at the upcoming game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Not a whole lot going on for the Warriors right now, but Golden State of Mind did take a look at the season tickets and the contents of the whole bundle received from the team, pretty cool stuff, honestly.
