Surfing The Bay: Friday, September 17th, 2010

Get off the computer and get in front of your TV (or if you don't actually have to get up, turn your head... and if you don't even have to turn you're head... well you're too lazy for your own good) because here's what's on the tube for you tonight. All times are pacific.

NFL Total Access | 4:00 p.m. | NFL Network - The weekend is just around the corner, which means the NFL is almost here for week two. NFL Total Access keeps you updated better than any show on the matter and you should be watching it whenever you can. Unless, of course, you're looking for information regarding the 49ers or Raiders, in which case - you're where you want to be right now.

Athletics @ Twins | 5:00 p.m. | CSN California - This promises to be a good series to watch, so naturally, I will be. If I'm watching something, that basically means you should be as well. It's science. Immediately preceded and followed by A's Pregame and Postgame Live, respectively.

Chronicle Live | 5:00 p.m. | CSN Bay Area - Guests include Vernon Davis, Barry Sanders and more. It's a new episode, it's a good show. You take two, I'll take two, and we'll put them together. Sound good?

CFL: Calgary @ Saskatchewan | 6:00 p.m. | NFL Network - Fooooooooooottttttttttbbbbbballlllllllll! Am I right, folks? You know I am. So watch this, yeah? You'll thank me later. Unless it's a bad game ... in which case, you didn't get this tip from me.

College Football: Cal @ Nevada | 7:00 p.m. | ESPN2 - Our very own Cal is on a course for destroying playing Nevada tonight, will you be watching? You should be, unless you hate America or something like that. Do you?

Brewers @ Giants | 7:00 p.m. | CSN Bay Area - If you're not a football guy, you can watch the Giants struggle to get into first pl- ... wait, the Giants are in first place? For the first time in a long time? As in, ahead of the Padres? THIS SERIES WILL BE AWESOME! Immediately preceded and followed by Giants Pregame and Postgame Live, respectively.

UFC Fight Night From Charlotte | 7:00 p.m. | SPIKE TV - This is a repeat of an older fight night event, but there are some quality matchups. If you're at all interested in combat sports and not a fan of Cal or the Giants (in which case, I'll hurt you with my palms, son), you can watch these guys beat eachother up until one of them can't move. Always fun.

Other Stuff

Grandma's Boy | 7:00 p.m. | FX - The nerd in me adores this movie. If you're not into any of those sports, God forbid, then you should watch this hilarious movie.
