A's Look To Rebound Against Yankees

The Oakland A’s send out Brett Anderson in hopes of getting at least one win out of their series with the New York Yankees. The potent Yankees offense has decimated the A’s pitching, even with 3B Alex Rodriguez on the disabled list. The A’s young pitchers have performed well all season long, but have the staff has given up 20 runs over the last two games.

Anderson gets the start in his first start since leaving his last start at Texas with a hyperextended knee. Anderson indicated he’s feeling fine and will look to get the A’s back on the winning track. He’s opposed by AJ Burnett, who has struggled mightily in 2010 and could face a demotion to the bullpen at any point.
