Good morning, Bay Area sports fans. We had more baseball, and there were a couple good games (a couple games total, regardless). The Giants got a win and the A's lost, but ultimately, nothing unexpected went down. We're a day away from more football, which is always good.
After the jump is all you need to know when it comes to the A's, Giants, 49ers, Raiders, Warriors, Sharks and all of Bay Area sports is laid in front of you by myself, as per our team specific blogs. So jump when I say jump... jump.
The Giants had a great win yesterday, and it just felt really odd typing that. Either way, McCovey Chronicles has a "full" postgame thread for you to peruse. They also had the minor lines yesterday, as well.
The A's couldn't beat the Yankees, again, and not many people are surprised. Athletics Nation has a postgame thread, but it's not of the usual variety.
49ers safety Michael Lewis restructured his contract and took a pay cut with the team and Niners Nation had a post on it. They also took a look at who is likely to be extended first on the contract front. Beyond that, they had their preseason prospector's guide for tomorrow's game against the San Diego Chargers.
It seems like 49ers OLB Travis LaBoy's sack on Jason Campbell is sowing some pretty bad thoughts among Raiders fans. Still, Mario's struggles need to be noticed.
