After struggling with the Atlanta Braves, the Giants come back to AT&T Park for a four-game series against the Chicago Cubs. The Giants were one of the hottest teams in the NL going into the four-game stint with the Braves and seemed to regress in almost every area.
They'll look to right the ship against the reeling Cubs and Carlos Zambrano, who himself is looking to right a ship of his own - to cement his place in Chicago or increase his limited trade value. The Giants send Madison Bumgarner to the mound. Bumgarner has yet to play the Cubs in his MLB career and is 4-4 overall in his eight starts, though seems to have played better than his record might indicate.
The Giants have four games to right the ship and become one of the hotter teams in the NL again, and against the Cubs, they feel like they can do it.
