Down By The Bay: Cutting It Short

Holy entertaining baseball, Batman! We had an up-and-down day in Bay Area sports. The Giants won in a dominating shutout, and then the A's lost a rather weird game. The 49ers started stretching the field at training camp, but then they had right guard Chilo Rachal go down to dehydration and it was scary. Also, I'm in a hurry, folks, so I apologize for that, but I will be cutting things short tonight.

After the jump is all you need to know when it comes to the A's, Giants, 49ers, Raiders, Warriors, Sharks and all of Bay Area sports is laid in front of you by myself, as per our team specific blogs. So jump when I say jump... jump.

Giants: The Giants had themselves an impressive outing, shutting out the Rockies 10-0 with great pitching and solid hitting. McCovey Chronicles has, as always, the post-game thread for such things.

A's: The roller coaster continues for the A's as they lost yesterday. Athletics Nation has a postgame thread up.

49ers: Niners Nation has some notes on training camp with some quotes from Jimmy Raye. They also had an open thread for training camp news as the day went on.

Cal: You can vote for your Golden Moment of the decade over at California Golden Blogs, so be sure to head over there. In other news, Kevin Riley was named the definitive starter. They have a post about that as well.
