Tyreke Evans, Brandon Jennings, And Stephen Curry: The Possibility of A Big Three?

Brandon Jennings seems to be a regular on TMZ.com given his penchant for witty one-liners about anything. TMZ.com catches up with Jennings about the NBA trending towards 3-piece Voltrons like Lebron James, Dwyane Wade, and Chris Bosh of Miami and the on-going rumored counter-juggernaut of the New York Knicks consisting of Amar'e Stoudemire, Carmelo Anthony, and Chris Paul:

"I guess in three years, me, Tyreke Evans, and Stephen Curry should team up, too."

Jennings' comment, being facetious about the problematic trend towards 3-piece Voltrons and what that means for NBA competition, is interesting on a number of levels as far as what that means for the game and product of the NBA. But, instead, lets consider whether we would want to see a mini-team of point/combo-guards.  Could this small-big-three compete with the Miamis, Lakers, Celtics, and Magics? On the marketing side of things, If the Warriors marched a extra-small-ball lineup like this, could this be the greatest PR move for the Warriors since Run TMC? Or is the biggest question about who will run the point position?
