Down By The Bay: There's One Battle Of The Bay Game

Good morning folks. We had a decent day of Bay Area sports yesterday. Not every team won, obviously, especially considering two of them were up against each other - but there was some exciting sports regardless.

After the jump is all you need to know when it comes to the A's, Giants, 49ers, Raiders, Warriors, Sharks and all of Bay Area sports is laid in front of you by myself, as per our team specific blogs. So jump when I say jump... jump.

The Giants aren't sure what game they're playing, but right now - it's not baseball. They decided that they didn't enjoy beating the Diamondback very much, and after a brief team meeting decided it would be good to give them big win after big win because they felt sorry for them. Silly Giants. McCovey Chronicles has a postgame thread.

Dallas Braden is a beast. A beast who can't pitch beyond 88 MPH. Say what? Either way, the A's got the win over the Rangers and it was a good one, providing you like low-scoring shutouts, which I particularly do. Athletics Nation has a postgame thread and recap.

Of note yesterday was Aubrayo Franklin signing his tender before the game against the Raiders. Oh yeah - the game against the Raiders. Niners Nation has a postgame thread about the game, which was a good one that I'm pretty upset i missed a bit of.

Silver And Black Pride didn't have a post-game thread, but earlier this morning they had some notes from the game on what they saw/didn't see.
