Down By The Bay: Battle Of The Bay

One day away from the Battle of the Bay, and I personally cannot wait. The A's had a game yesterday, but it didn't go so well. Nothing new from the Warriors or Sharks, but we move on regardless. The biggest thing is that preseason game for Bay Area supremacy - at least until they meet again in the regular season.

After the jump is all you need to know when it comes to the A's, Giants, 49ers, Raiders, Warriors, Sharks and all of Bay Area sports is laid in front of you by myself, as per our team specific blogs. So jump when I say jump... jump.

The Giants didn't have a game yesterday, so things at McCovey Chronicles drifted into talks about movies and internet nerds. They did, though, have the minor lines, which you should always be reading up on. Who knows who will end up in the majors?

The A's couldn't complete the sweep against the Indians, but it wasn't a terrible game. Athletics Nation has a postgame thread and recap.

The haps in San Fran right now is NT Aubrayo Franklin reportedly going to sign his tender on Saturday before the game. Cool stuff, he was fantastic last year and should be this year as well. No reason to not keep him around.

Niners Nation also took a look at the matchup between the 49ers defensive line versus the Raiders offensive line, as well as having a transcript from Jimmy Raye posted. The guy is colorful, to say the least.

Silver And Black Pride is getting geared up for the game on Saturday, but there isn't much posting at the moment. They do, however, have their daily post up with all the news, notes and quotes you need to know.

Golden State Of Mind continues asking questions about the upcoming season. Unfortunately, there really aren't any answers as of right now.
