Down By The Bay: That Hurts

The Raiders played a pretty darn good game yesterday. There were good things on both sides of the ball, and if I was a Raiders fan, I'd be pretty happy. The Giants and the A's both lost yesterday, which is just bad. The A's played a close game and for the Giants ... well ... Tim Lincecum decided he sucked. Today, the 49ers play the Brett Favres. Should be a good game. Brett Favre.

After the jump is all you need to know when it comes to the A's, Giants, 49ers, Raiders, Warriors, Sharks and all of Bay Area sports is laid in front of you by myself, as per our team specific blogs. So jump when I say jump ... jump.

Here's a postgame thread from McCovey Chronicles. Be right back, I need to continue crying.

The A's played themselves a good game. They really did. But it wasn't enough. Our editor, David Fucillo, was at the game and I imagine he's listening to Linkin Park and crying into his pillow at the moment. Or not, but still. It sucks when you play like that and it all falls apart in the end. Here's the postgame thread from Athletics Nation.

Niners Nation took a look at players to watch for the 49ers in tonight's game against the Vikings. Also related to the game, they had their Madden simulation and play-by-play for the game tonight, which you can find here.

On top of that, they took a look at WR Josh Morgan and what potential fantasy value he may or may not have.

They don't have a recap up at the moment, but Silver And Black Pride did have their game thread, which you can read through. To, you know, see how it went. And all of that good stuff.
