Well
After the jump is all you need to know when it comes to the A's, Giants, 49ers, Raiders, Warriors, Sharks and all of Bay Area sports is laid in front of you by myself, as per our team specific blogs. So jump when I say jump... jump.
Spirits are low at McCovey Chronicles, as they should be. When their pitching ace, their best player, the person they're supposed to be able to depend on - Tim Lincecum - can't pitch anymore. He's in a rut and there's no end in sight, and it was very evident against the Padres, in which the Giants lost game three and therefore the series. The post-game thread is up, but don't expect a whole lot presently.
Yesterday's minor lines are up as well, taking a look at the Giants' farm.
The A's didn't fare much better. The rival Twins found themselves on the good side of a sweep. The A's lost all three games and didn't look particularly sharp in any of them. There's flashes here, and there's flashes there - but it was a disappointing series. Athletics Nation has a post-game thread and recap.
The 49ers won a game yesterday, and despite the fact that it's just the exhibition season, it was a good feeling. Niners Nation has some player quotes from during and after the game in a post.
On top of that, they had their post-game recap, taking a look at went down in the game. On the flip-side to that is my own recap of the game from here at SBNBA, so be sure to check that out.
Silver And black Pride has some thoughts on the Raiders offensive line and I don't necessarily agree with them myself. The preseason is just the preseason, but it's there for a reason - it's a measuring stick. If a lineman gets blasted on in preseason, he'll get blasted on in the preseason barring adjustments and learning from the mistakes he makes in the games. But it is still a valid article in most points.
Not a lot going on for the Warriors, but Golden State Of Mind has a fanshot about Stephen Curry being one of the thirteen Team USA finalists. Pretty cool stuff, he deserves it and it's nice to see some good representation for the Warriors.
