I'm a little slow on the uptake, but I just came across the ESPN.com's "Outside the Lines" story about the dirty side of stadium food profits. You're not just paying for an overpriced burger, but (possibly) mouse droppings and insects. No, stadium food did not suddenly become an episode of Andrew Zimmern's Bizarre Foods. Nor have we become a country that has embraced this as part of "America's Pastime" .... yet.
↵Paula Lavigne tells us all about the sanitary violations that could and have already happened along with fun, yet, sickening stats about which stadiums have the most violations. Watch out for the potato salad at the Oracle! This definitely makes me think twice about my love for those dollar hot dogs.
