Down By The Bay: Doin' The Dance

Good morning folks. Welcome to another edition of Down By The Bay

After the jump is all you need to know when it comes to the A's, Giants, 49ers, Raiders, Warriors, Sharks and all of Bay Area sports is laid in front of you by myself, as per our team specific blogs. So jump when I say jump... jump.

Giants: Alright, it's about midnight and I just completed my "Giants Win" dance so I suppose it's a fitting time to talk about this. They had a huge game yesterday and McCovey Chronicles has a post-game thread/recap that you can go and post in. Roll around in it. Let it all sink it. Feels good, man.

A's: The Yankees completed a sweep of the Athletics yesterday, but what can you do? It's the Yankees, you have to play some flawless baseball to win and the A's just couldn't get it done. Don't take it too hard, you can head over to the post-game/post-series thread over at Athletics Nation for discussion.

Cal: The sponsored posts continue (where can I get in on that, please) with a look at tailgating tradition. It's worth noting that the game they're sponsored by is actually very good. I buy it every year to tide me over until I can get Madden. Also, you need to continue voting for your favorite Cal player of the decade.

Warriors: Are the Warriors cursed? Yeah, probably. Ekpe Udoh is going to miss the Summer League as Golden State Of Mind notes. Beyond that, everything is rumors right now - just a whole lot of rumors. So much rumor I can't type this title out for this rumor that involves Anthony Randolph, LeBron James (you'll see) and more. I don't know what the Warriors are going to do but they really need to do it sometime soon.

Sharks: There were a couple signings related to the Sharks yesterday - but neither are going to affect the Sharks all that much next season. For one, the team signed Jay Leach and Fear the Fin is on it. Leach signed for a one year deal and doesn't figure to be a big factor. The other signing was Evgeni Nabokov going to the KHL. The team had already informed "Nabby" that he was not going to be brought back to the Sharks this coming season.

49ers: Over at Niners Nation, a look is taken at the CFL and it's possible merits as a developmental league for the NFL. I don't see it, but worth a read. Also, they take a look at one of Pro Football Focus' new ratings: elusiveness. Are we playing Madden now?

Raiders: I really need to say nothing about this post. It's very clear the folks over at Silver and Black Pride have no soft spot for JaMarcus Russell - and why would they?
