Braden's CG Helps A's Stop White Sox Home Winning Streak

The Oakland A’s bounced back from last night 6-1 loss to defeat the White Sox 6-2. Dallas Braden threw a complete game to help the A’s snap the White Sox 13-game home winning streak. Braden threw 111 pitches, giving up 2 runs on 8 hits and a walk. Braden received help up and down the lineup with Daric Barton leading the way with 2 RBIs, and Kevin Kouzmanoff going 3-for-5 with 3 runs scored.

With the Rangers and Angels squaring off tonight, the A’s could pull to within 7.5 games of the division lead if Anaheim can pull out the second game of their series.

The A’s will look to win the rubber match of this series tomorrow, as they send out Gio Gonzalez to face Gavin Floyd. Gonzalez will be looking for his 10th win on the season.
