Surfing The Bay: Friday, July 2, 2010

Get off the computer and get in front of your TV (or if you don't actually have to get up, turn your head... and if you don't even have to turn you're head... well you're too lazy for your own good) because here's what's on the tube for you tonight. All times are pacific.

A's @ Indians | 4:00 PM | CSN California - Preceded by A's pregame live on the same channel, tune in for the first game of the series and watch the A's beating on the MLB's lower tier of lower tier teams. We've got a story stream on the action right here, as well.

Giants @ Rockies | 5:00 PM | CSN Bay Area - Preceded by Giants pregame live on the same channel. The Giants are coming off a loss and looking to even up the series in game two. If you're a Giants fan, there's really no reason not to watch this game unless you're in unstable condition and cannot take the punishment of another loss. Do not worry. We understand.

UFC 116 Weigh-In | 7:00 PM | SPIKE TV - Do you like watching men strip down and have their weight scrutinized in front of a crowd? Well, me neither - but I do so love watching the staredowns, however fictional some of them may be. UFC 116 is tomorrow and I'm a huge MMA fan so this is included. The Lesnar v Carwin and Leben v Sexyama staredowns should be quite entertaining.

Hopkins vs. Arnaoutis | 8:00 PM | ESPN2 - Is boxing your thing? Then tune in for the light-welterweights on ESPN's Friday Night Fights. Some great young prospects on the card, should be good.

SportsNet Central | 8:30 PM | CSN Bay Area - You can expect some looks at the Giants game and the A's game in this new episode of SportsNet Central.

Chronicle Live | 9:00 PM | CSN Bay Area -  Looks like they'll have Matt Maiocco on tonight, and I see a bit about UFC president Dana White - I imagine it'll be something for tomorrow's UFC 116. Glad to see more MMA in the media. They'll also have Dave Razzano, a former NFL scout - whether he's an actual guest or they just dissect his recent comments made on 49ers quarterback Alex Smith remains to be seen.

Generally I'll add in some more non-sports things for you to watch but tonight is rubbish. Nothin' good, instead just get on here and read every word we write. And comment. Yeah, do that.
