Good ol' baseball. Keeping things rolling. My team lost, obviously, but I'm OK with it. It was a good day of games, complete with two late rallies that weren't good enough to secure wins (for the Giants and Royals vs A's respectively). The SB Nation blogs remain at a crawl right now for the rest of the sports, though. Offseasons suck.
After the jump is all you need to know when it comes to the A's, Giants, 49ers, Raiders, Warriors, Sharks and all of Bay Area sports is laid in front of you by myself, as per our team specific blogs. So jump when I say jump... jump.
Giants: It was a valiant effort yesterday, but I didn't catch the very end so I don't know what all the fuss is about, but according to the post-game thread from McCovey Chronicles there was some less-than-stellar umpire play near the end of the game. Beyond that, they had the minor lines, which you should always be checking up on.
A's: As always, you can check out the post-game thread for discussion of the A's game yesterday over at Athletics Nation. It was a good win yesterday. They also examine Ben Sheets and whether or not he'll be showcased later today for the Red Sox.
Cal: Not much going on with Cal lately, but they do have their Golden Nuggets, focusing on Kevin Riley and his confidence for the upcoming season. I'm not sure I share his confidence (in him.)
49ers: Niners Nation kept the confidence posts going, with a look at how fans see the 2010 season for wide receiver Michael Crabtree.
Raiders: Can this Raiders team overcome some of the perceived inevitabilities that past great Raiders teams have? Silver And Black Pride asks the question, I tend to agree that there are bad calls but I also think they happen for everyone. I don't see there being any kind of conspiracy but then again, what do I know? They also posted the video for Jared Veldheer's Meet the Rookies segment.
