Down By The Bay: I Missed A Big Game

Good morning everyone. You'll notice when you get to the section about the Oakland A's that I made a mistake yesterday. I joked on Niners Nation how I thought of three hundred better things to do yesterday than watch the A's play, and I ended up regretting it. It's worth noting that I did none of the three hundred things either. Feels bad, man.

After the jump is all you need to know when it comes to the A's, Giants, 49ers, Raiders, Warriors, Sharks and all of Bay Area sports is laid in front of you by myself, as per our team specific blogs. So jump when I say jump... jump.

Giants: What is the deal with Buster Posey? I mean, I rode his jock for a year or two much like many folks but I didn't see this kind of play. He's just awesome. Go to the post-game thread over at McCovey Chronicles and talk about his awesomeness. You can also read up on the minor lines if you're interested in that kind of stuff.

A's: So I decided not to watch this game because for some reason I figured it would be boring. I have since decided that I'm an idiot. Here's the post-game thread/recap from Athletics Nation. Go talk about how dumb I am for not watching it.

Warriors: Fans at Golden State of Mind want the Warriors to match the offer on Anthony Morrow. I do too - I see no reason why they should not pay the man. He's an integral part of the team and he's needed. They're really just gonna let him walk? They do know that fans enjoy an occasional win, yeah?

Sharks: Not much going on for the Sharks, but Fear The Fin is beginning coverage on Evgeni Nabokov in the KHL. For most teams and most players, a week after he was gone that would be it. Not for the Sharks and "Nabby" though. Glad to know what's going on and I'll look forward to seeing him in Russia.

Cal: Keeping the offseason rolling, at California Golden Blogs you can vote in their hall of fame. The match yesterday was The Play Players vs Sandy Barbour. Today is J. J. Arrington vs Scott Fujita. I casted my vote. (Barbour, Arrington)

49ers: Niners Nation profiled their 2010 opponents, the Carolina Panthers in their latest Know Thy Enemy post, while some classy fella (heh heh) had a post about fan confidence in cornerback Nate Clements.
