Tyreke Evans Halfcourt Buzzer Beater Caps Off Crazy Ending To Kings-Grizzlies

So technically SBN Bay Area doesn't cover the Sacramento Kings, but they're close enough, and this is crazy enough for Bay Area fans to appreciate their crazy finish with the Memphis Grizzlies. Tyreke Evans and O.J. Mayo went at each other in the final seconds, and the result seems to make March Madness look pedestrian.

First, the Grizzlies had the ball with a two second differential between the game clock and the shot clock up one; technically the Kings didn't have to foul, although they'd only have two seconds left. But Evans poked it away, raced down the court, and got a breakaway dunk to put Sacramento up.

After Rudy Gay missed a shot, the ball went out of bounds to Memphis. Then Mayo received the ball, stumbled off-balance, dribbled away from the basket...and hit it with 1.5 seconds left. The Grizzlies seemed to then backup to the other side of the court to prevent any catch and heaves.

So Tyreke Evans received the inbounds from DeMarcus Cousins, took one dribble, shot and released...and you can see what happened on the video after the jump.

Bonus points for those who saw Donte Greene go crazy before the ball even hits the net.
