Get yourself off of the computer, get something delicious to drink and get yourself in front of your television. Here's what's on tap for you in Bay Area Sports for today, all times are pacific and all programs are probably awesome. Because I watch them ... and I'm awesome.
↵NFL: 49ers @ Chrgers | 5:00 p.m. | NFL Network/ABC - I'm not sure if this is really on ABC, but that's what the guide is telling me. Either way, the 49ers and the Chargers will be squaring off on Thursday Night Football tonight and it should be a good one. The 49ers need a win badly. 49ers Postgame Live will be on CSN Bay Area following the game.
↵NHL: Sharks @ Stars | 5:30 p.m. | CSN California - The Sharks need to beat the Stars tonight. It's a must, it doesn't matter if they technically "don't" need to, but they need to. Because I said so. Immediately preceded and followed by Sharks Pregame and Postgame live, respectively.
↵World Extreme Cagefighting: Henderson vs. Pettis | 6:00 p.m. | VERSUS - Ben Henderson is one of the more exciting fighters in the sport right now, and Anthony Pettis himself has been impressive of late. The WEC has been the most exciting MMA organization, and this is their last event before merging into the UFC. The winner of the main event will fight the winner of Gray Maynard and Frankie Edgar to unify the two organization's lightweight titles. Don't miss this if you enjoy combat sports.
↵Chronicle Live | 9:30 p.m. | CSN Bay Area - This could potentially be on a bit earlier. You can bet the bulk of this episode will focus on the San Francisco 49ers.
