Down By The Bay: Games ... Please

No more games, I'm going through withdrawals. I'm not sure why, I have plenty of sports to digest, but it's not enough. Playoff baseball is coming to the Bay Area on Thursday, and the Sharks get going on Friday. That's what I'm waiting for. I have nothing else to talk about. Just give me games. Like, now.

After the jump is all you need to know when it comes to the A's, Giants, 49ers, Raiders, Warriors, Sharks and all of Bay Area sports is laid in front of you by myself, as per our team specific blogs. So jump when I say jump... jump.

Fear the Fin began rolling out their 2010-2011 Sharks position previews, and yesterday covered the depth defensemen, the bottom six forward group,  the bottom pairing defensemen, and the goaltending.

Thinking about predicting the playoffs? Head over to McCovey Chronicles to do so, even if Grant is a scared little girlie man and won't do it. Neither will I, though.

The season is over for the Oakland A's, but Athletics Nation will roll on throughout the offseason as always. They recently had a post about this awesome site that has a lot of information regarding homerun distance and the like. I'm wasting my time now playing with it.

The Niners continue to make moves, as they promoted LB Keaton Kristick from the practice squad to the active roster. I'm not pleased with the move. In other news, you can vote for safety Taylor Mays for the NFL rookie of the week.

The flip side to that strong performance by a 49ers rookie is the Raiders Rolando McClain, who had himself a very bad game against the Houston Texans. Silver and Black Pride also takes a look at the Raiders run defense, or the lack thereof.
