Down By The Bay: No Games

No games ... we have ... no games. What do we do? I went insane with nothing to watch. Actually, in reality, I was working on a lot of Sharks-related stuff as well as some Giants bits ... We had some news on the 49ers front, and beyond that, I'll discover with you. Let's get to that.

After the jump is all you need to know when it comes to the A's, Giants, 49ers, Raiders, Warriors, Sharks and all of Bay Area sports is laid in front of you by myself, as per our team-specific blogs. So jump when I say jump... jump.

Should Barry Zito start a playoff game? No, I don't think he should. In fact, I'm so against it, that I would probably cry myself to sleep if Zito got the start. I think we very clearly have three guys who should be there, and Zito is not one of them. Definitely not one of them.

Athletics Nation promoted a fanpost to the front page. Said fanpost said a fond farewell to the 2010 Oakland A's season. There's a lot to be excited about, quite frankly. Allowing the fewest runs in the AL? Beasty.

Niners Nation had its coverage of the release of safety Michael Lewis, who was let go as per his own request. Taylor Mays is the new starter and played well against the Falcons. Niners Nation also posted the transcript from Mike Singletary's latest press conference.

Fear The Fin begins their look at the 2010-2011 Sharks NHL season with its previews. In its first, it took a look at the depth defensemen

Stanford: Rule of Tree has a final look at the loss to Oregon. That was a bad loss, a definitely sobering game after a good start that had me really excited. Good game though, if I eliminate the disappointment.
