Down By The Bay: Win Some More, Please

Down by the Bay is a daily catch-up of Bay Area sports action from the previous day. It's here on SB Nation Bay Area every morning at the same time, and it's the first thing you should be reading to catch up on the San Francisco 49ers, Oakland Raiders, San Francisco Giants, Oakland A's, San Jose Sharks and Golden State Warriors. After the jump is all you need to know, so make it and let's get to it. When I say jump, jump. So, uh, jump, right now.

Today, the Giants play the Rangers in Arlington for game three of the 2010 MLB World Series. That's still so ... so ... crazy for me to be typing. Either way, McCovey Chronicles has a preview with a look at the Rangers starting pitcher for this game, Colby Lewis.

Good win for the Warriors yesterday as they beat the Clippers. Golden State Of Mind has their postgame links, always a great source of information if you couldn't watch the game. Then, on top of that, they had their recap of the game later that night.

The 49ers play the Broncos tomorrow, in London, if you hadn't yet heard. Niners Nation took a look at Troy Smith and the possibility of him having a limited playbook. I'm not overly concerned with that. They also noted that the 49ers absolutely, positively need to run the ball to beat Denver. On top of that, they also had a post about the general youth and inexperience of some of the 49ers.

Silver And Black Pride continue their predicting ways with a look to the future - a look at the upcoming Seahawks game. On top of that, they take a look at some statistics involving the 'Hawksand their run defense.

The Sharks play the Ducks tonight and it should be a good one. It always is. The Sharks will win, and they'll win big, or I'll cry. I'll cry a lot. I'll call my wife and cry to her for hours. Don't you even suggest that I would not. Fear The Fin has their gameday post for the matchup, so be sure to go check that out.

Not much going on for the A's right now, but the folks at Athletics Nation considered a Giants World Series victory and whether or not that's a good thing for the A's. I'm flattered by the poll results, personally.
