Foothill Wins 34-25 Thanks To Granada Miscues

The Matadors were handed their first loss of the season because they kept on shooting themselves in the foot with mistakes both random and controlled. Sophomore Grifth Gates was involved in two of the big moments of the game.

... Gates' shoestring tackle on Granada's Eddie Horn near the Falcons' end zone capped a dramatic goal-line stand that kept Foothill ahead 14-6 as the first half concluded.

The lone bright spot for Granada was George Atkinson III, who had three plays of 60 yards or more, two going for touchdowns.
