Stanford rose up two spots in SB Nation's latest BlogPoll after their win over UCLA on Saturday.
The Stanford Cardinal moved up two spots to No. 8 in SB Nation's latest BlogPoll following their 35-17 victory over UCLA on Saturday.
With the win the Cardinal clinched their position in the Pac-12 title game against none other than UCLA (only this time at home) on Friday, Nov. 30.
The San Jose State Spartans cracked into the BCS top-25 over the weekend but couldn't quite get the push needed to make the BlogPoll's best, as the Spartans are the first team outside of the top-25. At 10-2, the Spartans went so far as to garner a few top-20 votes from some of the bloggers.
Stanford has won eight straight and 19 of their last 20 home games. Stanford is also riding a six game winning streak and with a win over UCLA this week will seal a spot in the Rose Bowl for the first time since 2000. It is the third straight 10 win season for Stanford - the first in school history.
