Stanford's 21-3 win over Cal on Saturday earned the Cardinal a three-spot promotion in SB Nation's BlogPoll Top 25.
After downing the California Golden Bears, 21-3, in The Big Game on Saturday, the Stanford Cardinal find themselves at No. 19 in the latest SB Nation BlogPoll Top 25.
The Cardinal (5-2, 3-1 Pac-12) jumped three spots from No. 22 in the Week 7 poll, receiving 7.19 points per blog. They'll play host to a struggling Washington State squad in Week 9. The Cougars are losers of four straight and are winless in Pac-12 play.
Stanford rebounded from a tough 20-13 overtime loss to Notre Dame in Week 7 by trouncing the Bears on Saturday, and with Washington State and an awful Colorado Buffaloes squad on the docket for the next two games, the Cardinal should have smooth sailing until their clash with the No. 7 Oregon State Ducks on Nov. 10 in Palo Alto.
Stanford was ranked as high as No. 6 by one voter in the BlogPoll for Week 8.
