Stanford dropped six spots in Sunday's coaches poll and now stand at No. 23 overall.

The Stanford Cardinal fell six spots to No. 23 overall in the most recent USA Today Coaches Poll following their heartbreaking 20-13 OT loss to Notre Dame.

The Fighting Irish also benefited from the controversial victory, moving up two spots to No. 5.

Outside of Stanford, there are four other teams representing the Pac-12 in the coaches poll. As for the risers, the Oregon State Beavers moved up three spots to No. 11 while the Arizona State Sun Devils cracked into the top 25 and now rest at No. 24.

Oregon and USC saw no movement in the Week 8 poll with the Ducks sitting pretty at No. 2 and the Trojans remaining at No. 9.

The UCLA Bruins also surprisingly received one vote in the coaches poll despite having an embarrassing 43-17 loss to the Cal Golden Bears on their resume.

The Cardinal will have a chance to work their way back up in the rankings over the next three weeks as there set to face off against the mediocre lineups of Cal, Washington State and Colorado.
