NIT 2012, Nevada Vs. Stanford: Game Time, TV Schedule And More

The Stanford Cardinal continue to roll through the competition in the 2012 NIt Tournament, but may have met their match in the form of the Nevada Wolf Pack in the quarterfinal round at Maples Pavilion Wednesday night.

Both the No. 3 seeded Stanford (23-11, 10-8 Pac-12) and No. 5 seeded Nevada (28-6, 13-1 WAC) are vying for a trip to Madison Square Garden for the semifinal round of the tournament this evening. The Card remain the highest seed remaining in their region, but will have their hands full with the dangerous Wolf Pack who are 12-4 away from Lawlor Events Center this season.

Stanford owns a 20-9 all-time lead in the series, dating all the way back to 1913-14. The Cardinal has won five in a row, including a 68-39 shellacking back on Dec. 16, 1999 in their most recent meeting.
