NFL Combine Results 2012: David DeCastro Puts Up Impressive Numbers

Stay connected for news and updates

As many offensive linemen and tight ends from the Stanford Cardinal and California Golden Bears are among the group of athletes flaunting their talents at the 2012 NFL Combine Saturday, some of the numbers are beginning to trickle in.

Let's take a look at Stanford OT Davis DeCastro, who is expected to be a high first-round pick and did nothing to dispel that with his work today.

He managed to put up 34 lifts on the bench press, finishing second only to Michigan's David Molk who put out 41 lifts.

In the 20 Yard Shuttle, DeCastro had the third-best time out of all offensive linemen, finishing it in 4.56 seconds.

He also put up the top-overall score in the Three Cone Drill, finishing in 7.30 seconds. Putting up strength, agility and speed numbers together show off an impressive package.

Other scores include a 5.43 second 40-Yard Dash, 29.5 foot Vertical Leap and 98 inch Broad Jump.
