NFL Combine Results 2012: Stanford's Jonathan Martin Skips Positional Drills

Stay connected for news and updates

Stanford Cardinal offensive tackle Jonathan Martin seems to have gotten over his flu-like symptoms, however he decided not to participate in positional drills today at the NFL Combine.

"I'm not doing lifting or field drills (at the combine). I was sick the last couple days, just a little food poisoning, I don't remember what it was. Something I ate in Arizona."

Martin did take part in the height, weight, arm and hand measurement. He will instead wait to finish the drill portion of his workout at Stanford's March 22 Pro Day.

Martin came in at just over 6'5, weighing 312 lbs with a 34 inch arm length. DeCastro came in at a tall 6'4 (and 7/10 of an inch), 316 lbs and with an arm length of 32 3/8.

Martin also made a bold declaration, saying he was better than USC OT Matt Kalil and believes he is the best tackle in the draft.
