NIT Tip-Off 2011 Bracket & Schedule: Stanford, Oklahoma State, Virginia Tech, Syracuse Hosts

The Stanford Cardinal will be playing in the NIT this year. Well, at least the first version of it. They'll join the Oklahoma St. Cowboys, Virginia Tech Hokies, and Syracuse Orange in hosting first and second round action of the NIT Tip-Off.

First and second rounds, November 14th, 15th, 16th

North Bracket (Carrier Dome, Syracuse, NY)

• #1 Syracuse vs. Manhattan Jaspers
• Albany, N.Y. Great Danes vs. Brown Bears
• Winners will face each other in second round, losers will play in consolation bracket.
  

East Bracket (Cassell Coliseum, Blacksburg, VA)

• #4 Virginia Tech vs. Monmouth Hawks
• #5 George Mason Patriots vs. Fla. International Golden Panthers
• Winners will face each other in second round, losers will play in consolation bracket.

West Bracket (Maples Pavilion, Palo Alto, CA)

• #3 Stanford vs. Fresno St. Bulldogs
• #7 Colorado St. Rams vs. SMU Mustangs
• Winners will face each other in second round, losers will play in consolation bracket.

Midwest Bracket (Gallagher-Iba Arena, Stillwater, OK)

• #2 Oklahoma St. vs. Ark.-Pine Bluff Golden Lions
• #6 Oral Roberts Golden Eagles vs. Texas-San Antonio Roadrunners
• Winners will face each other in second round, losers will play in consolation bracket.

Consolation Round, November 21st and 22nd

• First and second round losers will play third and fourth round doubleheaders on campus sites
