San Francisco Bulls Put $2 Million In Renovations Into Cow Palace

The San Francisco Cow Palace once more has a permanent resident, and the ECHL's San Francisco Bulls are cleaning the place up a bit.

↵

According to CSN Bay Area, the Bulls will be putting up $2 million for renovations into the arena as they get set for the October 12 start of their inaugural season in the Bay as San Jose Sharks affiliates.

↵

Bulls president and coach Pat Curcio noted on his blog that the main expenditure will come in the form of a state-of-the-art scoreboard known as "The Cube." It will provide 360-degree views along with a updated sound system. To go along with the new scoreboard, the concession areas will be getting a facelift as well.

↵

The Bulls are obviously looking to stay in San Francisco for the long haul with these additions. The renovations should help the Bulls survive longer than the San Francisco Spiders, who played their one and only season back in 1995 at the Cow Palace, the last time it was home to a professional hockey team.
