As the San Jose Sharks look to make that final push into the Stanley Cup finals this year, Sports 620 KTAR in Phoenix Talk Show host John Gambadoro is reporting that the Sharks have indeed offered a contract to free agent right winger Shane Doan.

The other clubs to have reportedly offered Doan a contract according to Gambadoro are the Phoenix Coyotes, Los Angeles Kings, and Vancouver Canucks. Doan played in 79 games for the Coyotes last season, the only team he has ever played for as a professional. He scored 22 goals along with 28 assists for a total of 50 points for Phoenix last year. Hopefully he can be persuaded to come to the Bay next season.
