The 2012 NHL free agent season begins on Sunday. The San Jose Sharks are coming off an incredibly embarrassing season that saw them almost entirely collapse in the second half after dominating before the All-Star break. The Sharks will need to regroup and rebuild a stronger team. To that end, they will need to decide which, if any, of their five free agents they are interested in bringing back for the 2012-13 season.

The Sharks may think about trying to bring back Brad Winchester, who was an integral part of the fourth line.

Here is the full list of free agents who ended the 2011-12 season as members of the San Jose Sharks. All of these skaters will be unrestricted free agents.
