NHL Draft Order 2012: Edmonton Has No. 1 Pick, San Jose Sharks Pick 17th With 6 Picks In Total

The 2012 NHL Draft begins Friday night, and the San Jose Sharks have six picks, beginning with the 17th overall selection.

The 2012 NHL Draft kicks off Friday evening, and the San Jose Sharks have six picks to use over the the course of the three day draft. The team's first pick pick comes 17th in Round 1, and the following rounds break down as follows: 25th in the second round (55th overall), 17th in the fifth round (138th overall), 17th in the sixth round (168th overall), and in the seventh and final round they select 10th and 17th (191st and 198th overall).

The first overall selection of the 2012 NHL Draft belongs to the Edmonton Oilers. A full listing of the 2012 NHL Draft order for all teams can be found here.
