The San Jose Sharks are set to embark on what they are hoping to be a elongated playoff run in 2012, but first must take care of business against the favored St. Louis Blues, starting on Thursday night at the Scottrade Center.
San Jose will certainly have their work cut out for them against the Blues, a very tight defensive team in their own right. The Sharks lost both of their regular season meetings with St. Louis, struggling to score goals in both games. San Jose will need to keep the traffic going around the front of St. Louis' net with Jaroslav Halak tending goal instead of Brian Elliot due to injury.
Location: Scottrade Center, St. Louis, MO
Puck Drop: 4:30 p.m. PT
TV Coverage: CSN California, CNBC
