Stay connected for news and updates

The San Jose Sharks begin their quest for a Stanley Cup on Thursday.

Thankfully, for Sharks fans, they will get a completely healthy lineup in its first round game against the St. Louis Blues.

According to Kevin Kurz from Comcast SportsNet Bay Area, Torrey Mitchell, Ryan Clowe and Brent Burnes will all be ready to play come Thursday.

When asked the Sharks will be fully healthy for Thursday's Game 1, head coach Todd McLellan said: "That's what I'm told, and that's what I'll believe."

Michal Handzus replaced Mitchell in the Sharks' lineup in the team's 3-2 win over the Los Angeles Kings on Saturday. Mitchell's injury was unknown and labeled as an "undisclosed injury" by the team after he suffered it in a game against the Kings last Thursday.

Neither Burns or Clowe skated in Monday's practice. According to McLellan, the two were given "maintenance days" to stay healthy.
