Giants Vs. Dodgers: Tim Lincecum, Josh Beckett Square Off In Game 1

The San Francisco Giants and Los Angeles Dodgers lock horns once again at AT&T Park Friday night, with two time Cy Young winner Tim Lincecum still looking for his former dominant self.

Lincecum (8-14, 5.21) got himself a W after 6.1 innings of two-run ball against the Cubs in his last start, and is He's 5-4 in 10 starts since the All-Star break with a 3.26 ERA, though hasn't lasted longer than six innings over his last six outings.

The Dodgers will send out Josh Beckett, getting his first taste of this rivalry after being traded from Boston. He is 1-1 with a 2.92 ERA since joining the Dodgers, earning his first win with L.A. in his last start, allowing just one run in 6.2 innings of work.

The Giants have posted a 28-19 record against National League West opponents this year, the best mark in the division. They've also taken two of the three series between these teams this year with sweeps.

First pitch is set for 7:15 p.m. PT with coverage on CSN Bay Area, MLB Network, and KNBR 680 AM.
