Giants Vs. Mariners: Ryan Vogelsong Gets The Nod In Game 1

The San Francisco Giants are on the road again, taking their talents to the great northwest to take on the Seattle Mariners at Safeco Field. Ryan Vogelsong will take the bump for the Black and Orange, eyeing another victory

Vogelsong had himself another excellent start for the Giants in his last outing, tossing 7.2 innings of one-run ball of just three-hit ball in a 5-2 win against the Rangers. It was his fifth consecutive victory after starting the season 0-2, though San Francisco have won all of his last seven starts. Vogelsong also lowered his ERA to 2.26, the NL's third-best mark at the moment.
