San Francisco, CA (Sports Network) - Ian Kennedy tossed 7 2/3 dominant innings on Wednesday as the Arizona Diamondbacks knocked off the San Francisco Giants, 4-1, to salvage the finale of a three-game set at AT&T Park.

Kennedy (4-5) threw 78 of his 122 pitches for strikes and allowed just one run on five hits and two walks while striking out seven to secure the victory. David Hernandez got the final out of the eighth and worked around a leadoff single in the ninth to nail down his first save of the year.

Paul Goldschmidt clubbed a solo home run and added an RBI single, while Ryan Roberts also knocked in a run for the Diamondbacks, who snapped a two-game skid.

Ryan Theriot went 2-for-4 and knocked in the only run of the night for the Giants, who had their three-game winning streak snapped.

Tim Lincecum (2-6) allowed two runs -- one earned -- on four hits over seven full frames. He struck out six, but issued five walks in the loss.
