Giants vs. Padres, Starting Lineups: Pat Burrell Starts in Left, Bats Clean Up

Stay connected for news and updates

After the marathon game Wednesday night that saw heroics from a number of San Francisco Giants the team must now refocus and handle their business Thursday night against the San Diego Padres. Skipper Bruce Bochy made some tweaks to his lineup from last night as the G-Men look for a series tie with their NL West rivals.

Miguel Tejada will move back over to shortstop this evening, giving Bill Hall the start at second base. And despite his great night at the plate as well as in the field on Wednesday Andres Torres will not start this evening, meaning Aaron Rowand will lead off and play center field. Pat Burrell will get the start in left field and bat clean up while Eli Whiteside will be behind the dish to catch Barry Zito.
