Giants vs. Brewers, Starting Lineups: Emmanuel Burriss Back at Shortstop, Pat Burrell Batting Third

Skipper Bruce Bochy and the San Francisco Giants are about to roll out their 38th different lineup of the season for game number 50 this afternoon, here’s how it shakes out:

Aaron Rowand will be back in center and leading off, giving Andres Torres a day off. Pat Burrell has been moved up to third in the batting order and will play left field, while Emmanuel Burriss will be back at shortstop after Brandon Crawford’s amazing day yesterday.

I mentioned it in the preview but figured I would again: Freddy Sanchez is only two hits away from career number 1000. Keep an eye out people.
