Showtime Offers Free Half Hour Preview Of 'The Franchise: A Season With The San Francisco Giants'

For those of you who were unable to catch the preview of 'The Franchise: A Season With the San Francisco Giants' on Showtime last night, the network will have a free airing of it on their website. I caught it last night and it looks like it's going to be an epic show.

Showtime does a really good job at giving the average baseball fan a glimpse inside the life of a professional baseball player; from how the season affects their life with their families, the story lines you don't see that take place in the clubhouse, the trials and tribulations of youngsters making their way up, established players, and even veterans in the twilight of their careers. The Giants are a full cast of outlandish characters, giving Showtime a number of different players to highlight and follow around, allowing the public a broader view of who they really are off the field.

The actual season doesn't start until the early summer, but this preview definitely wets you appetite of you are a Giants fan. The half hour touches on just about everyone's favorite Giant, so don't miss out on the chance to see yours.
