San Francisco 49ers Pass On HBO's Hard Knocks

San Francisco 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh runs a tight ship, and appreciates his and his team's privacy very, very much. He's spent the entire offseason gathering talent, trying to promote high-level competition at almost every position on the team.

Although that may sound like must see TV, the 49ers will be taking no part in HBO's reality show Hard Knocks, which is just how the 49ers should keep it.

Per Jed York via Twitter:

After their first superb year in a decade for the 49ers complete with a full re-set of the entire team mentality, the last thing you want is to have camera's in the players and coaches faces as they are trying to do work, even if Randy Moss is going to be there. Go bug the Raiders or something, HBO.
