San Francisco 49ers Alum Jesse Sapolu To Announce 2nd Round Draft Pick

During the second or third round of the 2012 NFL Draft, representatives from every NFL team will be announcing the draft picks for their teams. The San Francisco 49ers have picked Jesse Sapolu to represent them. After the jump, find out more about the man the Niners picked.

Sapolu was a good offensive lineman for the Niners during their heyday, playing two positions (center and offensive guard), and spent his entire career with the 49ers. Sapolu started out his career with the Oakland Invaders in the 17th round of the 1983 USFL draft, then was selected by San Francisco 49ers in the 11th round of the 1983 NFL draft. Sapolu is one of six 49ers to own four Super Bowl Championship Rings from 1984, 1988, 1989, and 1994.

To talk about Sapolu and the 49ers, head on over to Niners Nation.
