The San Francisco 49ers definitely needed wide receivers coming into the 2012 offseason. But they seemed to solve those issues by picking up guys like Randy Moss and Mario Manningham this offseason. It seems to solidify their depth overall at their position, meaning San Francisco can look elsewhere to fix their draft needs.
Todd McShay of ESPN released his latest mock draft, and he still thinks the 49ers will further stock up at the wide receiver position. McShay has wideout Stephen Hill of Georgia Tech getting picked.
Hill is as raw as they come for a prospect from a BCS conference, but his size (6-4, 215) and big-play ability (29.3-yard average on 28 receptions) make him hard to ignore, especially after he turned in one of the most impressive combine workouts I've seen from a receiver.
