VIDEO: Rams Epic Fail Trick Play Swings Momentum For 49ers

The St. Louis Rams came out against the San Francisco 49ers pretty well, moving the chains on offense and even scoring a rushing touchdown against them with their third string quarterback to take an early lead at the Edwards Jones Dome.

But Rams offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels tried to get a little too cute against the 49ers opportunistic defense, as Jerious Norwood's attempted pass was easily intercepted by Tarell Brown, swinging the momentum in San Francisco's favor big time, helping their chances at locking down the No. 2 seed heading into the second season.

Here's the play in all it's glory. The Rams were calling a nice game offensively up until this debacle happened.

A few plays later, Michael Crabtree would prime-time his way into the end zone after shaking some tackles, making it four straight games against the Rams now that he has scored a touchdown as well as giving the 49ers the lead:

Hopefully the momentum continues in San Francisco's favor.
