49ers Vs. Redskins Inactive List: Ray McDonald, Shawntae Spencer Both Inactive Sitting

The San Francisco 49ers and Washington Redskins released their inactive lists for Sunday's contest and as expected the 49ers deactivated Ray McDonald for the game. The 49ers defensive end has been dealing with a hamstring injury and has not quite been able to get over it. Ricky Jean-Francois will start at left defensive end and Demarcus Dobbs will be the primary backup defensive end. Given that Dobbs does not play nose tackle, Ian Williams is active and the backup nose tackle.

The Redskins, as expected, have tight end Fred Davis active. He was limited all week but will play. Offensive tackle Trent Williams is also active as he is overcoming an ankle sprain. The other interesting news courtest of @49ers is that Roy Helu will get the start ahead of Ryan Torain.

49ers' inactive players: QB Scott Tolzien, WR Brett Swain, CB Shawntae Spencer, FB Moran Norris, OL Mike Person, OL Daniel Kilgore and DE Ray McDonald.

Redskins' inactives players: FS Oshiomogho Atogwe, WR Santana Moss, RB Tashard Choice, LB Markus White, DL Darrion Scott, OL Willie Smith, WR Donte' Stallworth
