49ers Vs. Browns: San Francisco Recap By The Numbers

Another week and another win by the San Francisco 49ers. It's almost like we're getting spoiled at this point, isn't it? I'm sure you're not at all interested in breaking down the numbers on Sunday's 20-10 win against the Cleveland Browns, right? Who are you kidding? Let's dive in.

Frank Gore of course had the biggest day for an individual San Francisco player. His 31 carries for 134 yards was an amazing performance, and allowed him to pass Roger Craig and take over the number two spot on the all-time San Francisco rushing list.

Although the Niners had more total yards in the game (348 to Cleveland's 290), the Browns actually had more yards in the air. San Francisco Quarteback Alex Smith only put up 174 passing yards while going 15-for-24 with a touchdown and no interceptions. His counterpart, Colt McCoy, finished 22-for-34 with 224 passing yards, a touchdown and an interception. McCoy also had 30 rushing yards on the day, while Smith had 22. Still, Smith averaged more yards per pass (7.3 to 6.6) and finished the day with a higher QB rating (98.8 to 83.1).

Michael Crabtree led Niners receivers with five catches for 54 yards and a touchdown.

On the defensive side, Ahmad Brooks only had three tackles, all of them solo tackles, but managed to pick up two sacks.
