Sacramento Kings Blow Early Lead To Thunder, Lose 118-110

The Sacramento Kings got off to a red-hot start against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Tuesday night, but awful defense and some poor execution in the fourth quarter led to a 118-110 defeat. The Kings are now tied for the third-most losses in the NBA (44), while the Thunder improved to 47-18.

DeMarcus Cousins was great as usual, scoring 32 points on 13-for-22 shooting. The young big man also grabbed seven rebounds. Travis Outlaw played his best game with the Kings going for 20 points and seven rebounds. Tyreke Evans, who saw his name mentioned among trade rumors earlier in the week, scored 18 and had four assists and rebounds.

Kevin Durant made his push for the NBA scoring title, going for 32 points. He also brought down nine boards. Russell Westbrook had a pedestrian night with just 13 points in 27 minutes, although he did dish out six assists and bring down eight rebounds.

The Kings have just one game left against the Lakers on Thursday night.
