Sacramento Kings Fall To Kobe Bryant, Andrew Bynum, Lakers 115-107

The Los Angeles Lakers distanced themselves from the Sacramento Kings over the span of three quarters, then held off a late Sacramento rally to win 115-107. Kobe Bryant led the way for Los Angeles with 38 points and eight rebounds, including hitting the dagger three (his only three) to put the Lakers up by double digits in the final minutes.

Andrew Bynum was the critical player in this contest, causing DeMarcus Cousins problems at both ends. Cousins shot 5 for 16 from the field and finished with 10 points (although he did manage 13 rebounds, seven offensive). Bynum had an efficient 18 points on 8-13 shooting, while also grabbing 15 rebounds in the process. Pau Gasol and Metta World Peace added 15 points each, while Derek Fisher dished out seven assists.

Sacramento had seven Kings finish in double figures and even had efficient ball movement, putting up 23 assists and only five turnovers. However, Sacramento lost with their shooting, shooting 43.7% from the field and allowing the Lakers to hit 53.7% and nail 21 of 26 free throws (Sacramento managed to get to the line only nine times).
